''I think this is one of the craziest paintings I’ve ever done, and I’ve done a few crazy ones. The author is writing a book, and his imagination is running wild; his characters are a little like mine."

Her Blue Valentine figures radiate emotions of closeness, love and feeling safe, and her conspirator characters evoke curiosity. “My subject matter is people, but my real passion is in colour and how the arrangement of colour can produce a different emotional experience of art.”
