Created as a self-mailing invitation to one of the artist’s earliest gallery exhibitions, this at Leo Castelli Gallery in 1963, this very early and iconic print is an offset lithograph in colors that measures 17 x 23 inches (43 x 58.4 cm), unframed.  From the unsigned, open edition of unknown quantity as issued, its value is in finding this very early Lichtenstein print in excellent condition with strong, rich colors.  With printed invitation text (verso) and a cancelled USPS postal stamp, this highly collectible artwork is from the original printing and contains light folds, consistent with its initial purpose and use.  It was printed and published by Leo Castelli Gallery, New York and is designated as Corlett II.1 in the artist’s catalogue raisonne.
